streeeetch331 viewsYes I now you cant see its head but this shows the amazingly stretch that a bittern has. Before taking the November 2007 photos my idea of a bittern was exactly as it is shown in books, a static bird looking up and the real thing is nothing like that. Looking up is rest or wary the hunting bird changes shape in an almost unbelievable way.
